On 27 October 2023, H.E István Szabó Ambassador of Hungary, accompanied by Dr. Hilda Farkas counsellor for science and technology, visited the Pushp Vihar high school of Amity International Schools, as part of the "Talk with Diplomats" program. The Ambassador honoured the results of the school's Atal Tinkering Lab innovation student workshop and listened to the students' presentation of their innovative developments.
The Ambassador then attended and gave a presentation at a seminar designed to allow students to meet diplomats. In her greeting, Director Ms. Jyoti Arora highlighted the cordial relations that Amity has had with Hungary for many years, and mentioned the numerous exchange programs organized by Amity for Hungarian schools and vice versa.
In his speech, the Ambassador emphasized the results of diplomatic relations between the two countries and pointed out that learning and science are two successful areas where our countries have excellent cooperation. In her speech, Dr. Hilda Farkas praised the excellent results presented in the school's Atal Tinkering Lab and drew the students' attention to the newly announced Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship application as an excellent opportunity for further education. After the speeches, the students could ask the Ambassador questions about diplomatic life.
