On 19 May 2023, the Embassy of Hungary and the Office of the Defense, Military and Air Force Attaché celebrated the Hungarian National Defense Day in Delhi.
At the ceremony, President Solih welcomed Ambassador István Szabó and congratulated him on the commencement of his term.
In the audience discussion following the ceremony, both parties emphasized the importance of Hungarian-Indian relations, referring to the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

On June 8, 2022, the Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi, as the country chairing the Visegrád Group, organized the first "VISEGRÁD 4 Student Virtual Fair" in cooperation with the embassies of the other V4 countries accredited to New Delhi. The event was hosted online by the Symbiosis Centre for European Studies (SCES) at Symbiosis International University (SIU) in Pune.
Hungarian University of Public Service (UPS) and the Indian Marwadi University (MU) signed a cooperation agreement in Budapest on June 7, for which the preconditions were laid in May during the visit Boglárka Koller, International Vice-Rector and Tibor Bíró, Dean of the Faculty of Water Sciences UPS.
